Students from the International School Seychelles joined us at The Sanctuary in Roche Caiman to mark World Wetlands Day 2015. The younger ones from the Wildlife Clubs worked on clearing the wetland of any litter. They then planted mangrove seeds and collected some for them to later plant at the wetland beside their school. One group of the older students worked on clearing invasive species out of the mangrove area. A second group started digging work for the creation of new fish habitats beside the bird hide. A huge amount of work carried out and an enjoyable learning experience for the students.
