1. Conservation Officer
The Locally Empowered Area Protection (LEAP) project team is hiring a motivated Conservation Officer to actively participate in the management of the Baie Ternay and Port Launay marine national parks, alongside the Seychelles National Parks Authority.
Salary: SCR 18,000 with additional allowances dependent on a range of existing experience and qualifications.
Their role will be to:
- Implement programmes for biodiversity monitoring, conservation and rehabilitation of flora and fauna in the coastal zone.
- Support local stakeholders and user groups to sustainably manage their species and habitats.
Essential Requirements:
- Degree in Natural Science/ Conservation or related
- 2 years work experience in marine biodiversity conservation.
- Advanced Open Water with 50+ dives including survey dives.

2. Rangers
The Locally Empowered Area Protection (LEAP) project team is hiring 2 Rangers to actively participate in the management of the Baie Ternay and Port Launay marine national parks, alongside the Seychelles National Parks Authority.
Salary: SCR 8,000 with additional allowances dependent on a range of existing experience and qualifications.
Their role will be to:
- Participate actively in the management of the Port Launay and Baie Ternay Marine National Parks which include, Research and Monitoring activities, Educational activities, Maintenance activities and Eco-Tourism activities through the LEAP project.
Essential Requirements:
- Advance certificate in Maritime Training or any marine-related field
- Certificate in Maritime Training, plus 2 years of work experience;
